As a Print Packer/Shipper , you will be part of a collaborative and inclusive team as you support inbound and outbound operations of the Print Facility. You will perform tasks in various areas such as packing, stocking, quality control, loading and unloading stock. Get great perks. Perform final inspection of printed products prior to packing to ensure accuracy Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage Identify and dispose of defective items Keep complete records of all materials and printed products Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines regarding packaging Perform basic housekeeping to maintain a clean work area Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (i.e., stock replenishments, serve as back up driver)
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task; sound organizational skills Ability to use basic shop tools, identify problems and address them proactively Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members Ability to maneuver, lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 70 pounds regularly; as well as stand, kneel, crouch, and walk continuously Staples does not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position The world of working and learning has changed.
