This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operations of the warehouse and meeting customer satisfaction goals. Key Responsibilities

• Utilize picking lists, invoices, and/or scanners to accurately locate and pick times from bins
• Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities to ensure accuracy in fulfilling orders
• Organize picked items for packing in a systematic manner
• Pack items securely and efficiently according to established guidelines, ensuring products are protected from damage during transit
• Use appropriate packing materials, such as boxes, bubble wrap, and tap, to ensure the integrity of the shipment
• Apply shipping labels and other required documentation accurately
• Conduct visual inspections of items for any defects or damages before packing
• Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the supervisor
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating systems with quantities picked and packed
• Notify the supervisor of low stock levels and participate in periodic cycle counts as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Follow company policies and procedures related to security, accuracy, and compliance with shipping regulations
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate activities and resolve issues
• Collaborate with other warehouse and purchasing associates to ensure a smooth workflow
• Meet daily and weekly shipping targets to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and logistics teams to schedule pickups and deliveries as needed
• Experience with a cherry picker is a plus
