We are seeking a skilled Pastries and Desserts ProductionAssociate to join our team at Ayu Bakehouse. This role involves theproduction of all components from scratch for tartlets, cookies,and entremets, as well as mixing, laminating, and shapingpastries. This position requires a high level of attention to detail andorganizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meetdeadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience working in afast-paced kitchen environment and be able to lift up to 50pounds. Tips are split among staff and average an additional$4-8/hr.
Shift Options:
We have two shifts available: The AM shift is 7am – 3:30pm (5 x 8hr days) with 2 consecutivedays off. This shift includes lamination, cold case, and pastryprep (1 year experience preferred). The PM shift is 10am – 8:30pm (4 x 10hr days) with 2consecutive days off and the third off mid-week. This shiftincludes pastry and holiday production and packing. Pastryexperience is preferred for this shift, but we are willing to trainthe right candidate.
