Packer 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars 23 National Avenue, Georgetown, MA 01833 We are currently looking for people to support the packing function of our production facility, moving and preparing quality manufactured parts for shipment and to meet customers’ expectations. This position involves carefully packing, labeling, and organizing parts to ensure safe transportation and delivery while maintaining quality standards. Verify counts and record discrepancies Move and pack parts per customer specifications using safe work practices Visually inspect metal for defects; notify operator when product does not meet quality specifications and assist with resolution Enter packed piece counts into ERP system Stencil / Part Mark aluminum parts either manually or with machine per customer specifications Order pulling, picking, and packing in preparation of shipment of parts

Organization and Inventory:

Maintain and organized packing area and ensure sufficient supplies are available for packaging Accept direction and supervision while also possessing the initiative to make independent decisions Other assignments as instructed by department supervisor/manager

Job Requirements:

Previous experience packaging in a warehouse or shipping environment Must be able to read, write and have basic math skills for counting and recording inventory Read and understand blueprints and drawings is a plus, but we will train Attention to detail and ability to follow packing instructions accurately Some computer experience preferred Good attendance, reliable work history Must have excellent time management in a busy environment Desire to maintain a clean, organized work area with good housekeeping practices and excellent safe work habits Ability to communicate effectively displaying a positive attitude while being a team player Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
