Spherion of Rhode Island currently has Packaging Associate opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our Packaging Associate will be working a first shift with limited required OT. This is a hands-on role working with machinery and product handling in a food-grade facility. Responsibilities:

Package finished goods according to specifications
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Work near machinery (no loose clothing, no bypassing guards)
Assist machine operators as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Must speak english Working hours: 8:00 PM

Speak, read, and write in English
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs …
High attention to attendance and workplace conduct

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

Ability to follow instructions and complete required paperwork
Willing to work in variable temperatures (hot summers, cold winters)
