The main function of a packer is to pack or packageby hand a wide variety of products and materials.
JobResponsibilities:
Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
Record product, packaging, and order information on specified formsand records. Load materials and products into package processingequipment. Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers,using hand tools. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or workareas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Transport packagesto customers vehicles.
Skills:
Verbal communication skills and teamplayer. Basic problem solving skills. Basic knowledge of relevantequipment, policies, procedures. Ability to lift heavy objects.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED typicallyrequired. 02 years experience required.
