Production Operators/Packer 1st shift Mon-Thurs 7 am- 5:30 pm, Swannanoa location
Position Description:
The main focus of the position is to ensure that the product is packed as required by customer requirements listed on the Production Report. Teamwork, multi-tasking, accuracy, and a sense of urgency are required daily to ensure orders are produced and packed correctly. Communicates with operator appropriately when something is wrong
Check package count throughout the shift to ensure the correct count
Ensures the correct number of packages are packed in each box
Weigh boxes when necessary to ensure consistency
Keeps track of the number of cases produced during the shift
Put labels on boxes correctly
Work areas must be cleaned and organized for the next shift
