  Packer must make decisions to resolve deviations in daily operations by evaluating situations against standard operating procedures of quality and production.

Establishes credibility of finished goods through adhering to standards. Responsible for placing goods into their correct containers and preparing them for shipment using various equipment. Meets or exceeds required productivity standards.

Essential Duties:

Starts and stops pack station.
Understands safety rules and quality requirements as they pertain to the starts and stops of pack station.
Meets or exceeds established productivity standards.
Performs quality audits on finished goods and records efficiencies of line production routinely and accurately.
Ensures that the packed products conform to the order screen
Isolates damaged items to a predefined area and reports all damaged items to supervisors
Ensures that boxes are marked properly and labeled appropriately
Scans the packed box and validates information on the packing labels
Seals packed boxes
Reports any errors in product selection and quantity to the supervisor or coordinator immediately
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Skills:

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
Ability to communicate orally and in writing
Ability to perform basic computer functions with training
