KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

Operate the Guillotine/Four Side Trimmer, inspect cut materials, and package product to conform to

Manufacturing Order and Inspection Criteria Description of Candidate:

Qualifications of Candidate:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution Three to twelve months’ related manufacturing experience; textile industry and cleanroom experience preferred Proven record of exceptional attendance in previous positions Ability to read and comprehend instructions which contain several steps and may require a choice when changing conditions call for a different action Ability to record production related information in writing Ability to understand and follow ISO Work Instructions Ability to problem solve which requires one or two operations; some work with fractions, decimals, percentages, and averages, manually and with calculator Ability to use basic math, including multiplication, division, decimals and fractions. Simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, diagrams, scanning devices and adjustable measuring instruments Ability to check reports, forms, records and comparable data where interpretation is required using basic knowledge of the position Continuous mental and visual attention to ususally repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity

Job Description:

Refer to Manufacturing Order to determine details and specifications of material to be produced Operate the guillotine(s) according to Work Instructions Prepare cutting surface and/or load machine program to cut product to within quality specifications Package the cut materials into bags and/or film according to the Manufacturing Order Package the finished packages into cases according to the Manufacturing Order Prepare the sealing equipment for operation Regularly place labels onto bags for the current and future orders Follow procedures for reporting non-conforming product per ISO Work Instruction Perform in-process and final inspections Complete Manufacturing Run Sheet and Quality Checklist Record documentation as required Maintain cleanliness and integrity of the guillotine and packaging work environments
