POSITION SUMMARY:
The Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for all aspects of incoming, stocking, and outgoing warehouse duties. This role also includes the following: fulfilling orders which comprises of kitting, packaging, and verifying quality of all outbound shipments in a timely fashion. Receiving and stocking of inbound inventory, organizing and cleaning of the warehouse. This role will also be expected to manage stock levels to include reporting and reordering of necessary items to complete all orders, plus other projects, and duties, as assigned.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Display accuracy and efficiency on a continuous basis.
Pick and Pack:
Same day picking and packing of customer orders that demonstrates perfection in quality as it relates to completeness, placement, and product condition.
Receiving:
Unload deliveries of products and shipping supplies, verify that the correct items arrived and report any discrepancies. Monitor and confirm appropriate inventory levels and reorder as process dictates. Perform monthly inventory counts in the warehouse and resolve any inventory discrepancies. Assemble products utilizing hand tools and preparing for shipment. Load and unload pickups for all parcel/freight carriers throughout the day. Organize and clean the warehouse and move materials. Ongoing promotion, supporting and ensuring all safety issues in the warehouse area are resolved immediately. Communicate daily with team members and relay any issues to management. Data and order entry, as needed. All other projects and duties as assigned.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a warehouse setting. The role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment. Workspace is not climate controlled.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Strong attention to detail and accuracy while working with a sense of urgency. Basic proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, workflows, and technology.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and lowering packages weighing up to 50 pounds. Essential job duties require a certain standard of vision, speech, hearing, manual dexterity, and physical ability, which must be met, even with reasonable accommodations. Standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and crouching are essential movements that one should be able to perform with ease. Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time. Must be able to withstand hot and cold temperatures as work will be performed in a workspace that is not climate controlled.
