JOB SUMMARY

The Inspector is responsible for ensuring the garments meet the quality standard established by Badger Sport and its customers, recognizing and communicating defects to the printer, and taking appropriate corrective action as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(includes other duties as required): Arrives to work on-time and in the proper condition to perform assigned duties as such. Follows all published work and safety rules for the facility. Reviews CAD and Sales Order documentation for quantity and style for each order. Inspects test garments for proper placement, logo size, and correct color(s). Verify style numbers. Approves (or rejects) per company standards. Inspects garments as they come off the line for quality errors including incorrect logo placement, ink spots or stains, and garment defects. If errors are detected, follow fallout documentation and replacement procedures. Attaches hangtags to garments, or other packaging requirements if required by the order. Counts and bundles garments as they come off the line to confirm order fulfillment. Sends order back to layout if additional print locations not scheduled on the current production line are needed. Identify box with special label indicating what the order needs for completion. Inspect garments for cleanliness and clean if needed. Places garments in boxes, tapes boxes shut, and apply shipping pouch with CAD and packing list once all print locations are complete. Completes all documentation associated with each order as required. Completes all daily tasks, as assigned. Meets individual and department productivity and quality goals. May be cross trained in other areas of the department based on business needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse (hot in summer, cool in winter).

WORK HOURS

Monday-Friday 8:00AM – 4:30pm. Overtime and weekend work may be requested during busy periods.

DRESS CODE

Dress appropriate. Closed toe shoes required.
