Job Summary:

Carolina Discount Movers is looking for detail-oriented, dependable, and customer-focused Packers to join our growing moving team. As a packer, you’ll play a critical role in preparing clients’ belongings for safe, secure, and damage-free transportation. If you’re someone who takes pride in organization, works well with a team, and enjoys helping people during big life transitions, this position is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Carefully wrap, pack, and label customer belongings using proper materials and methods Protect fragile items with padding, wrapping, and strategic box placement Prepare and inventory items for both residential and commercial moves Assist with unpacking and organization upon delivery if needed Follow all safety procedures and company standards when handling personal items Maintain clean work areas and respect clients’ homes and businesses Communicate professionally with clients and team members throughout the job Collaborate with movers and team leads to ensure smooth job flow

Skills & Qualifications:

No prior experience required (training provided), though packing/moving experience is a plus Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and stand for long periods Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Respectful and professional attitude in customer environments Comfortable working in fast-paced and sometimes high-stress situations Must be punctual, dependable, and able to follow instructions Reliable transportation to job sites Requirements Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks. Strong attention to detail to ensure proper packing techniques. Good communication skills for effective teamwork. Previous experience in packing or moving is a plus but not required.
