Job Description:

We arelooking for capable Warehouse / Shipping Specialist to supportwarehouse raw material and finish product functions. This role isbased onsite in Piscataway, NJ. Individuals in this role should beextremely detail oriented and possess strong problem-solvingskills. It is also expected that the Warehouse / ShippingSpecialist has adequate physical strength to successfully unloadshipments. The estimated hourly pay-rate is $22.00 – $25.00, basedon experience.

Responsibilities:

Daily processes all inbound andoutbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging,picking, packing, Put-away and shipping Audits each shipment priorto packing to ensure that goods are in sellable condition and matchorder Picks, Packs and labels product based on establishedstandards Ensures that proper equipment, manuals, and accessoriesare shipped along with correct order Prepares shipping andreceiving documentation; maintains orderly files for alldocumentation Follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damagedfreight issues Perform inventory count and cycle counting with theability to analyze discrepancies and communicate to management anyneeded corrective action. Setup and monitor re-order points for keychemicals, reagents, supplies and etc., PO receiving and able tocarry on the communication with multiple departments Able to assistinventory counts into SAP system. Assists in responses to requestsfor tracing of missing shipments Assists in maintaining safety andhousekeeping standards in all areas of the warehouse and facilityto match company policy and EHS/ 5S policy Investigates receivingand shipping problems, finds root causes and helps developsolutions Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as assignedPerforms daily, monthly and yearly cycle counts Performs requiredadministrative tasks; prepares all required reports andcorrespondence Performs other duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Minimum high school diploma. Associate’s or abovedegree in supply chain or relevant field is preferred Can-doattitude and a willingness to learn and meet the demands of ourcustomers and management Strong time-management skills Strongorganizational, communication, detail orientation, and problemsolving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environmentand independently Expert MS Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point.

Request SAP and WMS skill/ Incoming Material experience Ability tocommunicate clearly, effectively, and tactfully with personal atmultiple levels within the organization Ability to lift 45 lbs.
