• Position Responsibilities:

• Check shipments for soundness, condition, shortage or discrepancies
• Package materials to ensure shipments arrive on time and in good condition
• Manage shipping supplies and notify purchasing when inventories are low
• Compare Packing Slip to outgoing material to ensure accuracy
• Review Production Schedule for system orders and schedule appropriately
• Prepare and maintain international documentation as needed
• Maintain clean work area
• Using hand power tools for tasks such as drilling crates.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, or scissor lift, as needed
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Required Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of shipping best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Preferred Experience:

• Forklift and scissor lift certification
• Experience with processing international shipments

• Physical Demands:

• Individual must be able to read, see, hear, and speak.

• Work Environment:

• Work involves occasional exposure to unpleasant elements, such as fumes, loud noises, etc
• Individual will be required to use a computer with keyboard, telephone or handheld mobile device for extended periods of time, and office machinery as needed.
• Individual will be required to use basic ha d tools daily.

• Workdays and Shifts:

• This position is 100% in office Monday
• Friday, daylight hours, and additional time as needed to complete work.
