- Packer Responsibilities
- Sets up and puts away fruit racks or pallets at the beginning and end of the workdays as needed by production
- Properly shrink and seal completed baskets using L-sealer and heat tunnel
- Coordinate and tie ribbon specified by orders onto sealed and shrink-wrapped baskets
- Helps determine shipping priorities and shipping methods required to meet shipping schedules
- Restock and refill boxes, paper, tape, and shrink wrap as needed to complete shipment for all orders
- Uphold accuracy and the ability to work under pressure with deadlines
- Follow proper daily cleaning routine for workstations at the end of each day.
- Packer Qualifications
- Detail-oriented
- Must be able to regularly lift and /or move objects up to 40 pounds.
