Shipping Crate Builder Job Description We are seeking a skilled Shipping Crate Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in crate building, carpentry, and construction. This role involves constructing shipping crates using various hand and power tools, and requires the ability to perform heavy lifting. Responsibilities Build and construct shipping crates using hand and power tools. Lay out materials for crate construction. Perform heavy lifting as part of crate construction. Daily use of hand and power tools to complete tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Experience in framing and carpentry. Ability to measure accurately using a tape measure. Previous experience in crate building. Additional Skills & Qualifications Background in construction. Carpentry experience. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00/hr.
