Shipper/Packer G & P Technology Services 3725 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer/Shipper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in packaging, and maintaining inventory control. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse environment. Duties Accurately pack products for shipment according to company standards. Inspect items for quality and ensure they are free from damage before packaging. Utilize materials handling equipment such as pallet jacks and reach trucks to move products safely. Maintain an organized workspace and ensure that all packing supplies are stocked. Assist in inventory management by tracking incoming and outgoing shipments. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize shipping processes and improve efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in the warehouse environment. Experience Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, particularly in shipping and receiving roles. Familiarity with inventory control systems and warehouse management practices is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge related to packaging equipment is a plus. Experience operating materials handling equipment, including pallet jacks and reach trucks, is highly desirable.
