un ⚐ ⚑ ⚑ We Need Help Packaging Furniture for Shipping (West Ashley) compensation: $30 I need help packaging furniture for shipping and the occasional organizational help. The pay is per unit, which take 1.5-2 hours each, one to three times per week, which is about $15-18 per hour as a 1099 independent contractor. Must be able to lift/leverage 100+ lbs onto a table or a cart and work with a tape dispenser. Most items are under 40 lbs that we foam-wrap on a soft table, but once they are all boxed, the 80-94″ long boxes need to be placed on a table and flipped over for taping. I am a 5’7″ woman and I have been doing this for two years, but recently had a back problem that keeps me from continuing this job.
