This position starts at $21.55 /hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. We have open positions for first shift. POSITION DESCRIPTION

Set up equipment/work area in preparation for startup, and responsible for filling and making boxes, while also being able to adhere to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for picking up empty boxes from the conveyor line and quickly packing with product. Responsible for hand making boxes as needed for certain products. Responsible for checking product going into boxes to assure all quality characteristics are met. Responsible for making decisions and acting on material to be used. Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor. Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Superintendent. All other duties as assigned. Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals. Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting. Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours. This facility does not accept rehires
