Job Summary:

We are seeking a Shipping Associate to join our production team. This role is essential to the final stage of the manufacturing process, where wood products are planed to specification, finished as needed, and prepared for shipment following customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform final planning of wood pieces to ensure smooth, level surfaces Apply any required finishes or treatments based on customer specifications Stack finished products safely and efficiently Band and package wood products for shipping per order requirements Ensure all materials meet quality standards before packaging Maintain cleanliness and organization of the finishing/packaging area Assist with labeling and preparing items for delivery or storage Follow safety procedures and production protocols at all times

Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, and stack materials up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and quality standards Comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced manufacturing environment Previous experience with wood finishing or packaging is a plus, but not required Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision Must be able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during the shift
