Picker/Packer Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. The Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately selecting and packing items for shipment according to customer orders. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customers receive the correct products on time and in good condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or scanning systems Pack products securely and efficiently into boxes for shipment Verify items picked match the order and ensure accuracy Label packages clearly with shipping information Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Report any inventory discrepancies or quality issues Follow all safety procedures and company policies Assist with restocking shelves and general warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Previous warehouse or order picking/packing experience is a plus Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] Good attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math and reading skills Team player with good communication skills Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
