Job Summary:

The Liftian Picker is a key member of the Hollywood Feed Supply Chain team responsible for accurately selecting, palletizing, and preparing merchandise for retail delivery. This role combines the duties of a picker and equipment operator to ensure efficient and safe movement of product within the distribution center. The Liftian Picker plays a critical role in meeting daily productivity goals while maintaining accuracy, safety, and adherence to company standards.

DC Liftians Picker Key Responsibilities:

Safely interact and efficiaently utilize DC technology. Safely load and unload pallets, cases, and individual items according to standard operating procedures. Identify damaged or defective items and report them to supervisors. Adhering to all safety guidelines, procedures, and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. This includes wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required, operating equipment safely, and reporting any safety hazards or incidents. Performing routine maintenance checks on equipment and reporting any malfunctions or damage to maintenance personnel. Meet or exceed productivity standards while maintaining picking accuracy and adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve workflow. Comply with all Hollywood Feed policies, procedures, and values. Other duties as assigned. Compensation is production based.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Being physically fit and able to lift heavy items or packages, often weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods during the shift. Must be able to operate equipment (96″ pallet jacks, forklift, etc.). Familiarity with DC equipment and operations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically demanding environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Education:
