Job Summary:
Personnel Placements, LLC is seeking a Picker to join our 2nd shift team at our plastic molding manufacturing facility in Collierville, TN. This position involves picking orders, packaging, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The Picker will receive training on the 1st shift for two weeks to get familiar with our processes, including using RF scan guns for inventory management. Experience with RF scanning or similar picking equipment is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Use RF scan guns to pick and organize customer orders accurately and efficiently. Inspect products for defects or damage before packing and shipping. Organize and stage orders in preparation for shipment. Ensure inventory is accurately logged and maintained in the system. Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment, including the storage of products and materials. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE. Assist with inventory audits and periodic counts as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience with RF scan guns and picking in a warehouse setting preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Willingness to train on 1st shift for two weeks (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) before transitioning to 2nd shift. Reliable and punctual with excellent attendance. Basic math skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
