SHIFT DAYS /HOURS

3rd Shift Position (6:45AM – 6:45 PM) 2-days on, 2-days off, every other weekend rotating shift (2-2-3). Overtime may be required throughout the week

STARTING PAY

$22.08 per hour/ with the ability to earn more. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Metal Mover for our Shipping Department. In this dynamic role, you will be integral to our production process, ensuring that raw materials, components, and finished products are handled with care and precision. As a Metal Mover, you will work closely with various teams to facilitate the smooth flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operations. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our production lines. This position requires physical stamina, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Safely move aluminum materials and products around the manufacturing facility. Inspect aluminum pieces for quality assurance before and after movement. Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment to transport materials efficiently. Load and unload aluminum products from trucks and delivery vehicles. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of materials. Collaborate with production teams to fulfill material requirements for manufacturing processes. Assist in inventory management by tracking material quantities and reporting shortages.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the qualifications, knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in manufacturing or metal moving is highly desirable. Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods of time. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Must be able to pass company background check and drug screen.
