Team Leader Shift/Hours:

3rd Shift Position (6:45 AM – 6:45 PM) 2-days on, 2-days off, every other weekend rotating shift (2-2-3). Overtime may be required throughout the week

Starting Rate:

$20.96 per hour/with the ability to earn more We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shipping Head Packer for our Shipping Department. In this role, you will work closely with the production team to coordinate packing schedules and communicate any special requirements for packaging specific products. You will be responsible for inspecting packaging materials, maintaining inventory levels, and implementing quality control measures to ensure compliance with company standards. Additionally, you will lead a team of packers, providing guidance and training to ensure consistent performance and adherence to safety protocols. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must, as you will be working closely with internal departments, shipping carriers, and customers to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues that may arise. What You Will Be Responsible For:

Oversee the packaging and shipment of aluminum products. Coordinate packing schedules with the production team. Inspect packaging materials for defects and compliance with company standards. Maintain inventory of packaging materials and place orders as needed. Train and provide guidance to packing team members. Implement quality control measures to ensure products are packed correctly.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/ or move up to 30 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job included close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the qualifications, knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
