We’re looking for a skilled Global Procurement Process Leader to join our growing team in Selma, Texas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and oversee the development and implementation of the critical Procurement Process for the worldwide Munters organization to support the business with mission-critical processes within procurement. Oversee the business process design and the associated metrics for the Procurement network including defining Global processes, policies, procedures, and templates, conducting impact assessment workshop and approval of process changes in alignment with developed goals and strategies for the global Munters Procurement Process network. Ensure adherence to global procurement processes through the Process Excellence Network. Responsible for aligning and directing business needs and translating business needs into tangible development initiatives. Identify improvement opportunities within the global procurement process and ensure the implementation of improvement measures in the global Munters organization. Ensure any decision to change or upgrade to a global procurement process is anchored in the Process Excellence Network, where all Business Areas are represented. Determine the scope of Procurement for the Transformation Towards Operational Excellence (TTOE) roll out. Define process description including activities, input/output, roles and responsibilities, interfaces and KPl’s in line with the procurement network within Munters. Provide support to a network of procurement experts in our business areas for process development. Develop and redefine the “Vision and Strategy” of the Procurement network. Clarify business support requirements derived from the desired way of working and collaborate on these requirements with the GPA (Global Process Architect) to ensure system support for the Procurement process. Oversee the development and implementation of procurement analytics and provide meaningful guidance to enable efficiencies across the procurement network. Monitor and drive the improvement of metrics including but not limited to as-is baselines and target future state KPls, eg CIP Savings, Pre-and post-award savings for projects, Cost Avoidance, Payment Terms for improved owc, optimization of Supplier Lead time and DIO in relation to procurement. Lead and support change management and communication efforts for all Procurement projects. Oversee and embrace cross-industry best practices for the Procurement process area.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Relations plus five (5) years of experience in purchasing, vendor selection management and vendor quality systems with an air treatment manufacturer with in-depth, understanding of evaporative cooling and dehumidification market; supply chains in Mexico and Central America; production methods, business areas, and strategies; and In Procure to Pay and Source to Contract business processes with a Global air treatment manufacturer.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Up to 25% domestic and international travel required.
