Job Description:
- Manage overall purchasing activities of various materials for manufacturing of automotive parts, such as seat cover, sun visor, door accessories, and luggage trim.
- Direct negotiation with vendors in purchasing of raw materials, equipment, or supplies, and direct interview process to determine product availability and terms of sales.
- Evaluate price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable bidding prices.
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management policies and procedures to coordinate overall purchasing activities.
- Review and authorize various documentation regarding purchasing activities, such as purchase orders, supplier contracts, invoices, memos, quotations, specifications, schedules, to convey information in regard to the procurement activities.
- Review and finalize all purchasing orders and contracts to ensure conformance to policies and standards.
- Build and manage strong and positive long-term business relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 2 years of experience (in the job offered).
