Semiconductor Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Account Managers overseeing strategic supplier relationships across high-value, high-complexity categories (e.g., optics, lasers, motion systems, electronics) Set priorities and execution strategies for volume ramp-ups, pilots, and new product introductions (NPI) Manage cross-functional collaboration across Technology, Logistics, Quality, Sustainability, and Cost (QLTCS) disciplines Serve as escalation lead for global supplier performance issues; resolve L2/L3 escalations beyond Account Manager capability Oversee negotiation strategies and commercial contract execution across long-term strategic accounts Drive supplier development roadmaps and ensure global transparency in performance and risk alignment Own long-term supplier strategy for innovation, cost improvement, and supply continuity Enable consistency of account management practices and foster best practice sharing across the sourcing team
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s in Engineering, Economics, or Business preferred 10+ years of sourcing, sales, or supplier development experience Strong understanding of global supply chain, product life cycles, and advanced manufacturing technologies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated success managing strategic suppliers in a high-stakes, global manufacturing environment Knowledge of semiconductor, optics, electronics, or mechatronics categories is highly preferred Experience with New Product Introductions (NPI) and supplier ramp-up management High-level negotiation and commercial deal-making skills Strategic thinking and ability to drive supplier roadmaps across quality, logistics, and cost metrics Capable of managing cross-functional alignment with engineering, finance, and operations High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships Interested? !
