Position Overview A leading organization in the aviation industry is seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee purchasing activities, optimize inventory levels, and ensure the availability of materials crucial to operational success. This is a confidential leadership opportunity ideal for someone with strong strategic, analytical, and team management skills. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with organizational goals and budget targets Manage procurement budgets and deliver on cost savings initiatives Oversee the timely purchase of parts, materials, and tools while maintaining proper inventory flow Build and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality procurement Collaborate with warehouse and inventory management to balance operational needs with cost efficiency Resolve supplier issues and negotiate favorable contracts and pricing agreements Maintain constant communication with inventory control and planning to align procurement with project timelines Ensure all parts are sourced from approved vendors and meet regulatory standards Support quality assurance efforts to guarantee compliance with required specifications Develop and maintain customer-approved component exchange programs Use market insights and performance data to improve procurement strategy Identify risks in the supply chain and create mitigation plans Prepare and analyze reports on procurement KPIs and cost savings metrics Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team, fostering a high-performance culture Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes

Requirements Minimum:

Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years of procurement experience 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role Proficiency in procurement systems and tools Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, financial acumen, and analytical capabilities Project management experience Proven ability to lead teams and drive results

Preferred:
