The Director will effectively and efficiently guide the Sourcing team and interact regularly with site Supply Chain leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing the supply chain operations at the enterprise level, influencing inventory and financial metrics, systems/process/tools development, fostering supplier relationships and management of suppliers, and the execution of driving an effective and efficient supply chain through the demonstration of key performance indicators. The Director Supply Chain & Sourcing manages all aspects of Spartronics Supply chain from Sourcing through Delivery.

The responsibilities include:
Lead Supply Chain Sourcing Strategy & Execution:

Develop strategic sourcing plans; manage supplier partners, negotiate contracts as required; coordinate and communicate with manufacturing partners on regular basis; manage other vendor/supplier relationships; influence full purchasing cycle; influence inventory management and execution. Drive efficiencies in the transactional.
Monitor KPIs and analyze Supply chain data: Manage key performance indicators and timelines against expectations; prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis of historical data and market trends to support long-range purchasing strategies; utilize knowledge of best practices to create or optimize inventory; identify opportunities to improve processes and create efficiencies; leverage strong communication and conflict management skills to proactively resolve issues that may impact the supply chain. Keen cultural and global awareness.
Drives innovation and operational efficacy to improve processes and procedures
Consider voice of customer for supply chain planning, management, and execution
Ability to establish effective business relationships with Spartronics supply base and internal interdependent functions
Ensure operation at levels necessary to achieve target service levels and enterprise operational and financial requirements; including supporting the manufacturing sites to ensure inventory plans and projects (cost down events, VMI expansion, etc…) to achieve target
Identify risk to supply chain capacity constraints (materials, talent, process, tools, etc..) and optimize throughput through supply chain strategies, supplier/partner development, processes/tools development, etc…
Accountable to help employees to increase performance of business as a whole and to maintain a positive company culture, vision, and ethics.
Requirements Education Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Supply Chain or ten (10) plus years of related work experience preferred Required Experience Ten (10) plus years of relevant job experience within Supply Chain.
Ability to travel up to 40%.
Previous Contract Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry experience preferred.
Must have industry experience with A&D and are familiar with

FAR/DFARS

regulations.
Must have experience in Sourcing Electronic Components

  • PCB, PCBAs, Chips, Micro-electronics
    Experience directly managing the work of others and leading a team
    Experience with Supply Chain Strategies including but not limited to Vendor Managed Inventory, Consignment, and Bonded Inventory programs.

Establish optimal inventory levels necessary to achieve target service levels and enterprise requirements including supporting the manufacturing sites to ensure inventory plans and projects to achieve targets.
Identify risk to capacity constraints and optimize throughput for customers and sites
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledgeable of Supply Chain from sourcing through delivery and supply chain methodologies and models
Experience with Sales & Operations Planning
Knowledgeable of Enterprise Requirements Planning (ERP), Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), manufacturing (shop floor), Inventory Management (Warehouse Management System), and Forecasting Methodologies
Strong Project Management skills
Preferred global experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Strong leadership skills including the ability to coach and mentor team members
Experience working across different cultures, adapting communication and work style as required for successful relationships
Advanced skills MS Office applications
Strong computation and analytical skills
Ability to negotiate professionally

Ability to multi-task effectively and adapt within a rapidly changing environment Compensation The estimated annual salary range for this position is $165,000 to $195,000. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, education, years of relevant experience, and specific expertise in the electronics manufacturing industry. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus, aligned with company and individual performance.
