The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, product development, and strategic planning. Duties Develop and implement category strategies that align with overall business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs. Utilize SQL for data analysis to inform decision-making and category performance tracking. Lead project management initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the category. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and finance to ensure cohesive strategy execution. Monitor inventory levels and supply chain processes to optimize stock availability and reduce costs. Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness within the category. Experience Proven experience in category management or related fields such as product management or supply chain management. Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading initiatives from inception to completion. Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes. Proficiency in Excel. Experience in contract management and supplier negotiations is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution within a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of product development processes and best practices in supplier management.
