Job Description:

As the Manager-Global Air Sourcing, you’ll play a pivotal rolewithin the Global Air Sourcing group. You will lead contractnegotiations with airlines and GDS providers across the globe,utilizing key insights derived from data and analytics. You willwork closely with the brands worldwide to determine our strategy inthe guest, crew, and corporate travel space and implementrecommendations to maximize cost savings and efficiencies for thebrands.

Essential Functions:

Negotiate contracts with airlines around the globe as well aswith GDS partners on behalf of the global corporation by utilizingdata, airline industry knowledge, sourcing expertise, and softskills to achieve the most desirable fares and terms to allow forthe lowest and most flexible air program for our guests, crew, andcorporate travelers. Dive into dashboards, reports, data, and trends to uncoveropportunities and identify trends, develop actionablerecommendations, and negotiate to implement thoserecommendations. Proactively identify opportunities to further improve airproduct offerings including, but not limited to, researching anddeveloping new airline relationships. Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, GDS partners,and internal stakeholders by meeting with them regularly to stayabreast of current trends, requirements, changes, etc. Utilize data to analyze results, quantify savings, and reportto internal stakeholders. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree preferred, with anundergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration,Economics, Supply Chain, Analytics, Hospitality, or relatedfields. 5-8 years of experience working in the aviation industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention todetail, and strong commercial acumen required. Must possessexcellent problem-solving skills. Highly driven and self-motivated,with an entrepreneurial spirit. Air industry experience isrequired; strategic sourcing and cruise line experience is aplus. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, with strongexpertise in Excel and Power BI, is required. Expertise in Oracle SQL and Oracle SQL Developer. Expertise in ETL Tools, Power Query, MDX, and

DAX. GDS

(Sabre/Amadeus) knowledge and experience.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/orcomputer for extended periods of time.

Travel:

Less than 25%non-shipboard travel likely.

Work Conditions:

Work primarily in aclimate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazardpotential.

This position is classified as “in-office.” As anin-office role, it requires employees to work from a designatedCarnival office in South Florida Tuesday through Thursday eachweek. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays and Fridays.

Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) theMiami/Ft. Lauderdale area.

Offers to selected candidates will bemade on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specificjob-related skills and experience.
