Purchasing Manager Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Brown is a Wholesale Distributor of Hardware & Tool brands to retailers and distributors domestically and abroad. We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to manage the purchasing and importation processes of our Supply Chain activities. You will be responsible for identifying items to be reordered, presenting and negotiating Purchase Orders with manufacturers, and coordinating inbound logistics with our preferred freight forwarders. With 30 years of existence, our Supply Chain is well-established along with the processes we rely upon. The ideal candidate will be able to learn our protocols and seek to improve them where they see fit.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels across our active product catalog
• Prepare purchase orders by vendor
• Analyze historical purchasing and identify sales trends
• Work with vendors across different time zones to address our organizations evolving needs
• Negotiate with vendors based on information available
• Learn and master the existing Reordering Tools made available to you and improve the process as needed
• Work independently and collaboratively with Brown USA’s Sales team to identify trends and optimize ordering
• Coordinate shipment of ready goods Job Requirements Experience
• Purchasing or related field
• Within a Wholesale Distributor
• Working knowledge of international logistics Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Power BI o Read and Export Data
• Critical Thinking o Observe available data and identify trends
