Manager, Global Air SourcingAs the Manager of Global AirSourcing, you will play a pivotal role within the Global AirSourcing group. You will lead contract negotiations with airlinesand GDS providers worldwide, leveraging key insights derived fromdata and analytics. Collaborating with brands across differentregions, you will help shape strategy in guest, crew, and corporatetravel while implementing recommendations to maximize cost savingsand operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities Negotiate contracts with airlines globally and with GDSpartners, utilizing data, airline industry knowledge, sourcingexpertise, and negotiation skills to secure the most competitivefares and terms for guest, crew, and corporate travelprograms. Analyze dashboards, reports, and industry trends to uncoveropportunities, develop actionable recommendations, and negotiate toimplement improvements. Proactively identify opportunities to enhance air productofferings, including researching and establishing new airlinerelationships. Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, GDS partners,and internal stakeholders, meeting regularly to stay informed ofindustry trends, requirements, and changes. Utilize data to analyze performance, quantify savings, andreport insights to internal stakeholders.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Background in Finance, Business Administration, Economics,Supply Chain, Analytics, Hospitality, or a related field. 5-8 years of experience in the aviation industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention todetail, and commercial acumen. Must have excellent problem-solving abilities and a highlydriven, self-motivated approach. Strategic sourcing experience are a plus.
