Summary:

The Director of Sourcing for the Purchase of FinishedGoods and Direct Materials categories is responsible for developingand executing strategic procurement initiatives for productssourced from OEM suppliers, to optimize supplier management, costefficiency, and risk mitigation. This role ensures a reliablesupply chain for raw materials, fabricated components, finishedgoods, capital equipment, and contract services while maintainingcompliance with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.

Atransformational leader with deep expertise in vendor governance,this position designs and implements sourcing strategies that alignwith enterprise procurement goals. The Director leads a team ofdirect reports and collaborates closely with stakeholders todevelop innovative sourcing solutions that drive business success.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business partners to understand priorities,balance short- and long-term goals, and develop and implementcategory sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives. Drive all aspects of the complex strategic sourcingprocess. Ensure that sourcing strategies result in and generate roadmapsof savings and value streams, and where appropriate, innovationopportunities. Negotiate planning and contracting with suppliers, ensuringthat agreements reflect ADT’s needs. Develop category savings roadmap, maintain and trackvalue. Develop, manage, and enforce sourcing policy, collaboratingcross-functionally across the organization. Manage supplier relationships with integrity, leveraging marketinsights to secure better terms, mitigate risks, and optimize thesupplier base. Oversee sourcing projects by allocating resources,tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion. Provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and developmentopportunities to build a high-performing team, ensuring alignmentwith business objectives and fostering a culture of growth andexcellence.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Procurement, orSupply Chain. MBA or Master’s degree in an aligned field preferred. 12+ years of relevant experience. Extensive experience in product manufacturing and sourcing withan in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials forsecurity and electronic devices, with experience in managingrelationships with contract manufacturers. Proven ability to drive change and transformation. Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes, policies, andprocedures. Strong negotiation skills and value management practices. Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solvingskills. Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and teamleadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Ability to project manage in a complex multi-projectenvironment. Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to workindependently. Analytical and/or technical experience with strong attention todetail. Strong presentation skills and ability to prepare and presentacross multiple organizational leadership levels.
