Manager, you’ll be responsible forsourcing, negotiating, and managing service provider for outsourcedservices. You will also assist multiple departments with thedevelopment and execution of sourcing and procurementstrategies. What You’ll Do Provide formal supervision to employees. Supervise the training anddevelopment of staff. Conduct performance evaluations andcoaching. Coordinate and lead the team’s daily activities. Establish workschedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staffand department target dates. Mentor and coach as needed. Assist with the development of company-wide policies andprocedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials. Work with business partners, operational, global shared servicesteam members and executive sponsors to develop, coordinate, andimplement strategy at local, regional, and global levels. Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts and other businessdocuments in support of the purchase of large quantities of goodsand services. Oversee the process of contract terminations, expirations,extensions, and renewals. Inform peers and corporate managementstaff of changes or results. Handle supplier and contractor certification process. Conductperiodic visits to high-profile supplier work locations to reviewvendor performance. Approve and manage costs related to the serviceprovider. Mentor and educate on outsourcing practices and the value ofapplying them. Manage issues and expectations across a broad rangeof abilities, locations, and cultures. Review all RTFs, and select solutions, and agreements. Approvecontracts with national and regional service providers. Ensurecontracts adhere to company standards. Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5
- 8 years of relevantexperience.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered. C.P.M., C.P.S.M. or N.A.C.M.certifications or eligibility, required. Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training,development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, andrewarding performance and retention preferred. Ability to guide the exchange of difficult information, conveyperformance expectations and balance problems. Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality,efficiency, and effectiveness. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examplesinclude Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive interpersonal skills with a strong inquisitivementality. Advanced math skills.
