Canada Montreal About the role Description of the entity/Team The mission of the Orange Business ‘B2B Global Sourcing’ direction, which reports to Global Delivery and Operations and is an integral part of the Group’s purchasing and supply chain organization, is to support the Orange Business teams in providing competitive solutions to our B2B customers (France and International), while managing risks and integrating social responsibility into contracts. Approximately 2 billion euros of expenditure are under his responsibility, on a scope of 6,500 suppliers to date. The B2B Global Sourcing Direction will comprise 4 new entities:
- 1 business partner entity for customer projects sourcing: “Project Sourcing”
- 2 strategic sourcing entities: « Telecom Sourcing » and « B2B Category Sourcing »
- 1 entity in support of entities above: “Sourcing Operations” Project Sourcing entity will be responsible for managing the purchasing of products and services for customer deals worth more than €1m TCV brought in by OB France and OB International, as well as for meeting local internal requirements for international.
Around €500m of expenditure will be under its responsibility, across a very wide range of suppliers, including resale and managed services, hardware, software, licences and professional services. The entity sits at the crossroads of Orange Business’s needs and is closely connected with, among others: OB International, OB France, DEF HdM, Secteur public, GDO and OF Supply Chain, OBS SA Sourcing and OCD Sourcing.
Missions:
As part of Project Sourcing AME, the Sourcing Business Partner AME is responsible for developing the purchasing strategy, negotiating the best terms and conditions, and recommending the best solutions for strategic and complex customer deals over €10M across the entire Orange Business portfolio.
Description of main responsibilities:
Contribution to the development and deployment of the Orange Business and Orange Group purchasing strategy Work closely with B2B Category Sourcing to identify future needs and anticipate market trends, provide market expertise for Europe Consolidate in-depth knowledge of markets and local and/or customer specificities, and integrate Orange Business and Group transformations
Implement and accelerate the execution of purchasing strategies on the Americas market
Promote and develop the role of Sourcing Business Partner Identify and implement business development opportunities Sourcing customer projects and relations with sales Work closely with Strategic deals Americas and be recognised as the purchasing decision-maker on these deals
Anticipate the needs of sales in order to ensure the qualification and commitment of resources from the earliest stages.
Work effectively with sales to win projects and ensure that B2B Global Sourcing practices and policies are implemented.
Working with B2B Category Sourcing, Telco Sourcing and BuyIN, make recommendations to optimise commercial proposals at a very early stage in the cycle
Manage sourcing projects, or assist buyers with their sourcing projects
Participate in sales milestones to validate offers Supplier and partner management Select suppliers and manage the various negotiation and contract management cycles
Develop strategic partnerships Value Creation Identify and execute medium-term savings to support Orange Business’ cost savings ambitions
Promote CSR commitments in negotiations and contracts
Contribute to the definition of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for its scope and manage them Internal Collaboration and Governance Establish a fruitful relationship with stakeholders (Sales, Category Leaders, Buyin, GPS, OBS SA Sourcing and OCD Sourcing), to align purchasing strategies with customer and operational needs.
Participate in the validation of purchasing decisions
Develop a 360° view of Supply Chain practices and interfaces with the Group
Help and advise buyers; promote best practice
Work with Sourcing Operations to improve and digitalise end-to-end processes Risk Management Identify and assessi purchasing-related risks, and implement mitigation plans, in conjunction with the Legal, Risk Management and Commercial Management Departments About you
Education :
Advanced degree in Business, Management, Purchasing, Marketing or related field.
Experience :
Min 5 years in or with Sourcing (sales experience a plus), preferably in B2B, and knowledge of at least one product/technology area Skills Negotiations and supplier relationships management: negotiation strategies; benchmarking; due diligence; design and management of the contract life cycle Negotiation Ability to negotiate a business plan with a supplier Sales and supply chain, Knowledge of B2B markets: resale, managed services and professional services Entrepreneurial spirit: able to drive change and manage transformations; Good knowledge of the Group’s strategy and Orange Business.
