We are seeking a Director, Sourcing Strategy & Optimization tolead high-impact, client-facing initiatives in our ContractOptimization business. This role is ideal for a seasonedprofessional with a strong background in sourcing, procurement, orcontract management, and a proven ability to engage directly withclients to deliver transformative results. The ideal candidate ispassionate about leveraging AI-driven tools and advanced analyticsto optimize supplier contracts and improve organizationaloutcomes.
As a leader in the Optimization team, you will combineyour expertise in strategic sourcing with cutting-edge technologyto drive measurable value, mitigate risks, and enhance supplierrelationships across critical spend categories. This position ishighly visible, requiring frequent collaboration with senior clientstakeholders and internal leadership to deliver impactfulsolutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Lead the analysis and optimization of supplier contracts,identifying opportunities for cost savings and riskmitigation. Develop and implement strategies to align contracts withorganizational goals and best-in-class standards. Partner with cross-functional teams, including procurement,finance, and compliance, to deliver integrated solutions. Play a role in the development of cutting-edge AI modeldevelopment. Leverage AI-enabled tools to extract and analyze metadata,evaluate terms, and benchmark contracts across spendcategories. Guide the integration of advanced analytics into sourcingstrategies for scalable, data-driven results.
Team and Stakeholder Collaboration:
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture ofinnovation and continuous improvement. Present findings, recommendations, and strategic roadmaps tosenior leadership and stakeholders.
Oversee the development ofclient-ready deliverables including the delivery and education andexecution as needed.
Deliver actionable insights and strategies tooptimize supplier terms and ensure alignment with client prioritiesand industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience:
10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contractmanagement, with a track record of driving strategicinitiatives. Deep domain expertise in indirect spend categories such aslogistics, facilities, and/or outsourced services.
Skills:
Strong analytical capabilities with an ability to synthesizecomplex data into actionable recommendations. Expertise in supplier negotiations, contract terms, and riskassessment. Familiarity with AI tools, data analytics, or ContractLifecycle Management solutions is a plus.
Education:
