Deerfield, Illinois Job Description Weare seeking Sourcing Category Managers and Sr. Sourcing CategoryManagers to join our team in a highly collaborative and supportiveenvironment. These roles contribute to the success of theorganization’s global sourcing strategy, ensuring the achievementof cost efficiencies, supplier excellence, and the long-termsustainability of the supply chain. Each role is a vital part ofour supply chain community, with a focus on building trust,nurturing relationships, and fostering teamwork across theorganization. ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of global sourcing strategiesfor assigned categories to deliver cost savings, innovation, andsupplier value. Establish and maintain strong relationships withkey suppliers, ensuring performance standards are met and fosteringlong-term partnerships. Drive negotiations for high-valuecontracts, focusing on cost optimization, quality, deliveryperformance, and risk management. Think Fast by identify andmitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, pricefluctuations, and geopolitical factors. Work it Together bycollaborating with internal stakeholders to understand businessneeds and align sourcing strategies with corporate goals. Make theHard Call by driving cost reduction and efficiency improvementsthrough the identification of new suppliers and innovative sourcingstrategies. Salary Range A reasonable estimate of the base salaryrange for this role is $110,000 USD – $130,000 USD. Qualifications2-7 year’s experience sourcing raw materials, such as Glass,Plastic, Wood, Chemicals, Electronics, Metals, within amanufacturing company. Experience working for a large, complex andmatrixed company. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply ChainManagement, or related field Ability to develop, lead, and managesupply chain strategy and supply base for one or more categoriesStrong negotiation skills and experience managing complex suppliercontracts Proven ability to scope and create projects to reducecost, improve productivity, reduce supplier risk, and increasecapacity Collaborative approach to communication andproblem-solving Ability to foster trust and build stronginterpersonal connections with leadership teams Salary Range Areasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is$110,000 USD – $130,000 USD.
