Our client—a large, well-established organization—is seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize procurement operations across departments. In this role, you’ll supervise a team responsible for managing solicitations, contracts, vendor relations, and policy compliance. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline purchasing processes, lead training efforts, and implement best practices in public procurement. What You’ll Do:
Manage and mentor a team of procurement professionals and support staff. Oversee the full lifecycle of purchasing contracts, solicitations, and vendor negotiations. Collaborate across departments to guide and support decentralized procurement efforts. Lead internal training on procurement policies and systems. Ensure compliance with all applicable procurement laws and internal policies. Use e-procurement systems and Excel extensively to track, analyze, and optimize purchasing decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field. At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience with 2+ years in a supervisory role, OR 7 years of senior-level public procurement experience. Familiarity with contract law, supply chain management, and public purchasing practices. Strong knowledge of e-procurement platforms and Microsoft Excel. CPPB, CPPO, or similar certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 years).
