The Sr. Category Manager, Technology will join theProcurement Team which is focused on strategic partnerships withbusiness stakeholders ensuring best commercial terms, achievingannual cost savings, responsible sourcing and supplier diversity.
The Sr. Category Manager, Technology provides essential procurementand supplier expertise in the areas of strategic sourcing andcategory management with strong commercial and contractualexperience with a high focus on Software. This role will deliverhigh quality, innovative and proven cost-effective methodologies tosupport company and department objectives and reports to Head ofStrategic Sourcing and Category Management.
Job Description andRequirements Job Responsibilities Lead and execute long term agreements through formal RFxmethodologies. Analyze spend data and industry dynamics to identify,prioritize, and launch sourcing initiatives. Identify value/ savings opportunities, processes, and bestpractices. Establish positive relationships across the business, includingsenior leadership, to ensure active and early participation insupplier-related matters. Lead negotiations in both financial and business matters,including commercial terms and risk mitigation for strategiccontracts. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understandrequirements, budgets and current gaps and challenges to developthe best strategic sourcing strategies. Support strategic sourcing best practices including drivingsupplier segmentation, scorecards, and facilitating strategicbusiness reviews in collaboration with business partners. Lead supplier contract renewals, while leveraging competitivepricing, quality and customer service, also perform supplierrelationship management and reviews. Develop strategic relationships with existing or new keysuppliers and ensure appropriate engagement levels exist to drivepartnership objectives. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency andmaximize spending opportunity Provide guidance as the subject matter expert to internalstakeholders on business initiatives, procurement strategies andcomplex purchasing issues.
Minimum Qualifications Experienced professional with a full understanding ofprocurement best practices. Able to balance multiple priorities at once, while proactivelyworking to resolve a wide range of issues, using data analysis whenappropriate Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniquesfor obtaining solutions Networks with senior internal and external personnel in ownarea of expertise Works independently on day-to-day tasks and able to initiatenew assignments with minimal guidancePreferred Qualifications Solid and effective communication skills (verbal andwritten). Proven track record of identifying cost reduction opportunitiesand driving significant, tangible financial benefit to thebusiness Contract negotiations experience, specifically experiencesupporting IT related services such as IT, Professional Services(solution architecture, network design, integration anddeployment), Software, SaaS applications and/or emergingtechnologies. Experience managing complex strategic sourcing projects and RFxprocess Ability to support large/complex supplier deals potentiallyincluding Software, and Services integrated solutions with customerflow down requirements. Ability to interact with and present up to Director/VPLevels.

The expected salaryrange for this role is between following values:$102,000 and$152,000The final offered salary will be based on several factors,including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience,skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at thetop end of the range would not be typical, to allow for futuremeaningful salary growth in this position.
