As the Director of Procurement, you will develop and manage the framework to support the procurement strategy. You will lead the procurement team to deliver value, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, you’ll oversee tendering, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationships while collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient procure-to-pay processes.
You’ll help us shape the future by partnering with key functional stakeholders and Procurement leads to co-create our 3-5-year strategic procurement plans with clear deliverables to safeguard our supply chains and work closely with finance teams to support the annual budgeting process.
It would be great if you had prior experience in one or more of these categories; Industrial Services, General Mechanical Labor (Incl. installation and repair), Fleet, Heavy and Rental Equipment, OEM Machinery, MRO and Consumables (replacement parts, tools, bearings, caustic, grease, lubricants, etc.), Commodity Supplies (Starch, energy, diesel), Land Logistics (Rail, truck),
If you don’t have experience in these categories, you’ll need exceptional technical procurement capabilities that you can effectively transfer to these areas.
You’ll have strong leadership qualities and a proven track record of driving transformational change within similar organizations. You’ll have exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, effectively engaging and collaborating with diverse groups to align on shared goals.
You’ll be committed to delivering a prompt and efficient service to all stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction and enhancing your relationships across all areas of the business.
