Summary:

We are seeking a highlyskilled Contract Procurement Manager with expertise in ITconsulting and software procurement to join our team on a contractbasis to support on a digital initiative for our Researchorganization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading andmanaging all procurement activities related to investment projects,ensuring efficient hiring processes and streamlined Request forProposal (RFP) workflows. Your strategic insight and strongnegotiation skills will contribute to the timely acquisition of ITservices and software solutions that align with our organizationalobjectives.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurementstrategies tailored for IT consulting and software, ensuringalignment with project timelines and investment goals. Manage theentire procurement process, including drafting and issuing RFPs,evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring promptvendor selection. Collaborate with project stakeholders tounderstand their needs and provide guidance on procurement bestpractices. Work with internal teams to expedite hiring processesfor consultancy services, leveraging relationships with recruitmentagencies to achieve a quick turnaround. Monitor vendor performanceand compliance with contractual agreements, ensuring that deliveredservices meet quality and time expectations. Conduct marketresearch to identify potential vendors and keep abreast of industrytrends, technologies, and pricing structures. Facilitatecross-functional communication among teams to ensure transparencyand collaboration in procurement activities. Prepare and deliverprocurement reports to senior management, highlighting key trends,risks, and opportunities for improvement. Drive initiatives aimedat streamlining procurement processes and enhancing efficiencywithin the organization during the contract period.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply ChainManagement, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’sdegree or relevant certification (e.g., CPP, CPM) is preferred. 7years of experience in similar IT consulting and IT softwareprojects Proven experience in procurement management, specificallywithin IT consulting and software sectors. Experience with Coupa orsimilar procurement software is highly preferred. Experience in thepharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred, particularly with asolid understanding of Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN), LaboratoryInformation Management Systems (LIMS), Inventory Management Systems(IMS), and Master Data Management (MDM) software procurement.

Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management,contract negotiation, and compliance standards. Demonstratedability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlineseffectively, with excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with theability to build and maintain relationships with both internalstakeholders and external vendors. A high degree ofprofessionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all procurementactivities.

is:

$115.55 – $115.55/hr. Final offer amounts,within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factorsincluding your relevant skills, education and experience and thebenefits package you select.
