The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire procurement process, ensuring the effective and efficient acquisition of goods and services, while maintaining cost control, quality standards, and fostering strong supplier relationships. In this leadership role, you will not only oversee strategic procurement but also actively manage and mentor your team, ensuring seamless daily operations and continuous professional development. As a key figure in the procurement department, your leadership will drive the team’s success, operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities Oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring cost control and quality standards. Foster and maintain strong supplier relationships. Lead, manage, and mentor the procurement team to ensure high performance. Ensure seamless daily operations and continuous professional development within the team. Drive operational efficiency and align procurement processes with organizational goals. Essential Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities. Advanced communication and negotiation skills. Expertise in procurement software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Knowledge of lean principles and value stream management. Production experience and six sigma certification. CPIM certification, blueprint reading, and GD&T knowledge. Degree required (2 years), 4-year degree preferred.
