The Procurement Administrator supports the procurement team by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure efficient and accurate purchasing processes. This role is essential in maintaining vendor relationships, processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and organizing procurement records. Procurement Administrator Your main responsibilities will be: Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and supplier agreements accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate with vendors to request quotes, confirm delivery details, and resolve order-related issues. Maintain organized procurement records, including vendor information and purchase order logs. Collaborate with internal teams to support the team with ongoing projects. Assist in sourcing new suppliers and gathering competitive pricing to support cost-effective purchasing. Create and update procurement reports and spreadsheets for departmental use and management review. Always ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Perform administrative support tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and scheduling meetings. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the procurement team. Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus. Previous experience in an administrative or procurement-related role preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. ERP experience is a plus.
