Job Description Summary The Indirect Sourcing Commodity Leader is responsible for creating and executing the enterprise-wide strategy for Indirect Services including Engineering Services and Field Services labor. The ISCL will negotiate with current and new suppliers to achieve the best contractual conditions relative to pricing, pay terms, warranty and other Key Performance Indicators. The Sourcing Leader will utilize standard work and industry related policies to customize a process to guide internal stakeholders through early engagement of the end-to-end RFQ process. This will involve working with the indirect category management team to curate a preferred supplier list. The role will require the ISCL to establish supplier capabilities, perform market analysis, conduct supplier screening/identification, prepare and launch RFQs, and perform analytics utilizing various should cost tools that will facilitate supplier selection. leader to establish and institutionalize sourcing related best practices (creation of Lean standard work, going to GEMBA, developing action plans. The ideal candidate will stay informed of macroeconomic/industry trends related to materials and labor that will influence their strategy.

Job Description Essential Responsibilities:

Role and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supports all GE Hitachi sites in Field Services labor. Maintains all GE Hitachi contracts including Proprietary Information Agreements, Main Service Agreements, Long Term Agreements, Supply Agreements, etc. Works with Category Management to develop commodity strategy for preferred supplier spend. Develops Deflation and Cash opportunities to meet established L1/L2 KPIs Works with Sourcing team to identify opportunities to improve pay terms or resolve pay term discrepancies contractually and systematically. Lead/Participate in LEAN activities to improve processes within the categories/sourcing organization. Support requestors in establishing RFQs and determining supplier selection to ensure standard terms are met or negotiated Perform New Supplier set up to include compliance activities, onboarding and supplier management Leverage LEAN principles to drive standard work and create a robust RFQ process to foster early internal stakeholder engagement Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers to assess performance against critical KPIs Lead Contract compliance initiatives to ensure 100% coverage across indirect categories Perform monthly spend analytics to assess actuals to target and generate ideas to close the gap. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university with 8 years of experience in supply chain or equivalent discipline OR A high school diploma or equivalent with at least 10 years of experience in supply chain equivalent discipline. At least 7 years of experience in Indirect Services (Engineering services, Field Services labor)

Eligibility Requirements:

The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered

Experience with contract negotiation Capable of working successfully in matrix organization, as part of a cross-functional team to drive impactful results Experience with data analysis and analytics tools, including Tableau and Spotfire Sourcing experience in a high technology and/or highly regulated industry Strong project management and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems The base pay range for this position is $108,000-140,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 5/2/2025. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
