Purchasing Manager Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Purchasing Manager Confidential Morrisville, NC 27560 We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchasing Manager to oversee the procurement of goods and services essential to our operations. The ideal candidate will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, ensure cost-effective purchasing practices, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support business needs. We will consider candidates with a broad range of experience. You will be working with finance, engineering, manufacturing and sales/service teams. This position reports to the President.

• Proven experience in purchasing and procurement management
• Generate POs to fulfill inventory and assembly requirements for production jobs
• Inventory planning for upcoming production jobs and projects
• Receive inventory and incoming shipments
• Stage materials to floor or stock as needed
• Enter Sales Orders into MRP system
• Manage year-end physical inventory
• Inventory adjustments and reporting
• Inventory material valuations
• Build and maintain vendor relationships
• Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
• Create and update bills of material in coordination with engineering drawings
• Assist sales with cost estimates for distributor spare parts orders
• Point person for logistics- UPS, FedEx, LTL trucking, international
• Coordinate Customs information for international shipments

Full-time Pay:

$65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
