Job Description
Zoetis, Inc. Leads end-to-end responsibilities for driving technology and digital initiatives within the Supply Chain and Procurement functions. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, working in a matrix organization and strong domain knowledge. Strategically acts as the ZTD Business Partner for Supply Chain, Procurement, and External Supply. Works closely with ZTD GMS teams and other ZTD functions including Digital & Data Analytics (DDA), 3rd party Providers, IT Compliance, Infrastructure, and Project Management Office to plan, define, execute, and operate new and enhanced system capabilities. This position includes people management responsibilities and is part of the Zoetis GMS ZTD Leadership team. Collaborates with GMS senior leadership to co-create and execute technology and digital strategies aligned with business objectives, overseeing the end-to-end Supply Chain and Procurement functions. Leads and mentors a team of Business Partners, providing guidance and support in executing technology initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Ensures appropriate culture and programs are in place to attract, retain and develop the talent required to support the organization; Drive digital transformation initiatives by identifying emerging technologies, assessing market trends, and setting industry benchmarks to advance technology maturity and architecture within supply chain and procurement. Owns and oversees the overall technology and digital architecture, ensuring alignment with business needs, scalability, and future readiness; Supports negotiations and administration of IT contractual obligations with external vendors. Develops and nurtures strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and engagement at senior and peer levels to drive successful technology adoption and implementation. Champions innovation within the supply chain and procurement functions, integrating new technologies and digital tools into existing processes to optimize efficiency and performances. Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure seamless integration and alignment of technology solutions with business processes and systems. Owns the delivery of the technology project portfolio and associated financial management, ensuring successful execution and implementation of key initiatives to drive business value and achieve strategic objectives. Monitors and evaluates key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and effectiveness of technology initiatives on supply chain and procurement performance.
Risk Management:
Takes a proactive approach to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the technology infrastructure supporting supply chain and procurement operations. Develops and implements risk mitigation strategies, including cybersecurity measures, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity protocols, to safeguard against potential disruptions and ensure the integrity and security of critical systems and data.
Regulatory Compliance:
Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements impacting supply chain and procurement technology solutions. Ensures that all technology initiatives adhere to applicable regulatory standards, such as data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and specific compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001), minimizing the organization’s exposure to compliance-related risks and liabilities.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT organization and across supply chain and procurement teams. Encourage feedback loops and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation.
Salary:
$181,000.00-$260,000.00. We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefit package, which includes healthcare, dental coverage, and retirement savings benefits along with paid holidays, vacation and disability insurance. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related and 10 years of experience required.
