In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that all materials and services necessary for our operations are acquired efficiently and cost-effectively. As a Procurement Manager, you will develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives and work closely with various departments to understand their needs. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with standards and expectations. This position requires a proactive approach to sourcing and procurement, with a keen eye for cost-saving opportunities. You will analyze market trends and conditions to identify potential sources of supply, fostering relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the balance between quality, cost, and efficiency. Responsibilities Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company’s objectives. Oversee procurement processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness in acquiring materials and services. Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular performance evaluations, and address any issues as they arise. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing. Analyze market trends to identify new sources of supply and innovative procurement solutions. Collaborate with different departments to understand their unique procurement needs and support them accordingly. Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders when necessary to maintain optimal stock levels. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms and pricing. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret market trends and data. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems is a plus. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
