Negotiation Full Job Description Salary Range:

$105,000•$168,000 Position Summary The Materials Manager will provide overall business level leadership and strategy for material planning, and the procurement of goods and services. Collaborate across all functions, but especially with operational planning, warehouse, and other operational teams. Identify potential suppliers and sources, screen them, and negotiate favorable payment terms, pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, quality levels and assure annual PPV targets are met. Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met. Oversee all sourcing decisions and conduct major negotiations to ensure company objectives are met. Responsibilities Ensure our Supply Chain is able to consistently hit 95% customer on time delivery. Ensure our Supply Chain is able to consistently hit a 30 day turnaround time in our repairs business. Capacity plan in the MRP all manufacturing resources to ensure a high level of throughput. Manage the process for demand planning of purchased materials and services based on production needs. Support new programs with flawless execution for purchased components. Measure on time delivery and past due performance. Identify root causes to any miss. Develop and implement systemic corrective actions. Own the process to identify, select and validate / approve new supplier sources. Analyze, review, and finalize sourcing decisions, and conduct major negotiations. Develop supply base strategy, monitor performance, risk and future business needs. Execute strategy to continually improve supplier performance and ensure the base is aligned with the company objectives and business plan.

Drive supplier development initiatives:

on-time-delivery, pricing, etc. Manage supplier relationships. Strive to be a customer of choice while maintaining high standards and competitive pricing. Lead internal and supplier teams to resolve complex, business critical issues by leveraging the technical, manufacturing, and supply base expertise. Interface closely with planning, manufacturing, quality, and engineering to resolve issues and expedite to ensure efficient production. Communicate supplier issues that could impact the business plan. Recommend contingency plans to mitigate risk. Coach and prioritize department members to meet and exceed business objectives. Continually identify opportunities to streamline departmental operations. Own process for raw material inventory optimization / management and support achievement of overall location targets for total inventory value and turns. Education and Experience This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization. Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical field or business field. Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility managing business processes for material planning, production planning & scheduling, and procurement. Proven experience in negotiation and business relationship management. Strong understanding of financials, technical and manufacturing know-how, and data analysis skills.
